Founded in 1982, Leading Tools Industrial Co., Ltd. operates its factory in the Taichung Industrial Park in Taichung, Taiwan, a center of hand tool manufacturing. For over four decades we have focused on professional hand tools for plastering, bricklaying and surface finishing.

Our range covers plastering trowels, brick trowels, jointers, putty knives and scrapers, inside and outside corner trowels, edgers and mortar mixers. We produce about 2 million pieces a year for professional builders and finishing trades around the world.

We work mainly as an ODM and OEM manufacturer, making products for professional tool brands in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We exhibit regularly at international hardware fairs to meet customers in person and discuss market needs and new products.

Three principles guide how we run the company: integrity, keeping our promises on quality and delivery; the pursuit of excellence, treating every problem as a chance to improve; and care for others, growing together with our employees, customers and suppliers.

We are now introducing MES (manufacturing execution), APS (advanced planning and scheduling) and WMS (warehouse management) systems to make production information transparent, so that data gives us more precise control of quality and more up-to-date delivery dates.

Our tools are made in our own factory in Taichung. We work with long-term suppliers in central Taiwan for materials, handles and specialist outside processes, and we keep these relationships stable so supply stays steady.

3Responsible to People and Place
Process wastewater is filter-pressed and sent to the industrial park’s central treatment plant. Inside the factory, our aim is a workplace where employees can build a stable living and keep growing their skills.
